THE AL-SHABAAB CLAIMS RESPONSIBILITY.
The al-shabaab have taken the responsibilty of the attack at early 5:30 am this is what they had to say.for the attack on Garissa University College which left 17 people dead.At least 65 others were wounded in the Todays pre-dawn attack.
A spokesman for Somalia's Al-Qaeda-linked Shabaab, told AFP the group was behind the early morning assault on the university in Garissa and had taken non-Muslims hostage.
"When our men arrived, they released the Muslims. We are holding others hostage," said Shabaab spokesman Sheikh Ali Mohamud Rage, without giving numbers.
the al-shabaab want to divide us and make us think that the war is between Christians and Muslims. Kenyans should stand as one and division will be as sign of weakness hence the tension created by them should be overcomed by joining hands as one as UNITED WE ARE STRONG DIVIDED WE FALL.
the RED CROSS are helping the injured and those critically injured are being air lifted to Nairobi for further treatment.
