FROM BOOKS TO ARSONIST

THE WAVE OF DESTRUCTION AND RAMPAGE IN SCHOOLS

The wave of unrest in secondary schools has reached alarming levels even as candidates approach mock and end of year examinations. The wave has reached crisis levels forcing the government to initiate a consultative meeting to try to address a problem that threatens the secondary public education system, several schools have been reduced to ashes out of unexplained rage.

While school strikes have been an ingrained element of Kenyan education sector, yesterdays morning more than one schools al over the country torched their dormitories turning all their cherished belongings into ashes. student could be seen trying to save some or even half burnt books and belonging.

What are the cause of rampage in schools?those are some of  the questions that everyone is asking.
what makes our sons and daughter act like savages, they are going to extent of even burning their own schoolmate?

the ministry of education should take action to prevent such incidents by ensuring that those student involved are eliminated from the public schools as they are becoming a danger to themselves and the society. juvenile prisons should be increased as those involved should be taken there.

according to most student cause of riots and rampage is exams, why should they fear exams if their are reading this destruction's causing parents to spend every dime in repayment of destruction fee are not worth it. may God give our sons and daughter enlightenment to know that dialogue is the solution not fist and rampage.
