Lupita Nyong'o's Pearl Oscars Dress Was Stolen

Lupita Nyong'o's pearl Oscars dress has been stolen, Sergeant Richard Bowman of the West Hollywood Sheriff's Department told ABC News. The actress's Calvin Klein Collection gown, made of more than 6,000 pearls and valued at $150,000, was stolen from her hotel at the London Hotel in West Hollywood on Wednesday while she was out.


Around 11:30 p.m. on Feb. 26, the L.A. County Sheriff’s office received a call saying that a dress worth approximately $150,000 was stolen from a room at the London West Hollywood Hotel.
Detectives are currently investigating the theft, though no arrests have been made, the LA Timesreports. Police are also reportedly combing over the hotel’s surveillance footage.
